  We went to The Keg in Sherwood park on Saturday night. We usually go to the South Common location but happy to have one close by now. The staff at the front were very accomodating and tried with great effort to get us in quickly. We ended up getting a table in the lounge which was fine by us. Our service was great by our server Ashley and helping hands. The food I would have to say was a little less enjoyable then we usually get at the South Common location. I ordered the chicken and ribs combo. The chicken was good but the ribs were thin and quite dry. The fries that I ordered with my meal as did my daughters meal, were over cooked. My wife's thai chicken meal was good but my son's chicken meal was a surprisingly small portion with the chicken outside layer very hard. The appetizer of calamari was tender but had absolutely no flavour. All in all, just an ok experience. It's their first week of opening and I guess they have to work some bugs out. Best of luck to the Sherwood Park location. We will definitely give it another go. Cheers ! B 3 out of 5 stars.

  Great service with the worst food ever. We eat at the keg all the time just not this one, won't be eating here again. What they need is a new head chef , that checks all the food before it goes out. I ordered a medium steak came out well done and hard like a rock.also messed up on everyone else's food I ate here with

  My husband made a reservation for Mothers Day at the new location in the Park. While waiting to check in we overheard people trying to get in right away with a large party and no reservation along with another family...on a holiday! The staff did what they could to accommodate them and I found that to be exemplary service. Especially where one of the families were quite demanding In a negative way. Kudos to these employees as it's not easy dealing with people who don't plan and then think they deserve regardless of others. Our meal, drinks and appy's were amazing! Prime rib cooked to perfection. Our server Chris was very good and would keep an eye on our wine glasses and top up as we needed (we had annottle at our table). I am so glad to have a Keg down the road from us and although it's only been open a week this restaurant is very accommodating and are Providing 5 star service!
